It’s the second anniversary of the website this week and I think this is the largest number of reader’s finds that we have had come in. Many thanks to all of you who have sent them in. It’s a good selection with a number of extremely rare coins.

In PAS finds, for those of you who like a connection between an object from many centuries ago to a present day object, there’s a medieval seal matrix with a link to Jägermeister. Never tried it myself but if you’re a fan, it’s a quite interesting story to go with your tipple.

A look at the origins of the image of a cross between a stag’s antlers, as seen on this seal matrix recorded at the PAS last week. Plus a papal bulla converted to a spindle whorl, a Bronze Age razor of Regional Importance and part of a Bronze Age gold bracelet which was found whilst picking potatoes.
