Friday Update: 16 June 2023
Editorial
With the hot weather continuing, the hard ground is making detecting difficult and the interesting stories seem to have dried up as well in the last few weeks. We’ve five more readers finds including a short cross penny of Henry III – you may well have found one of these as they are relatively common detecting finds. This one is a bit special as it’s a rare Class of the penny.
In PAS finds is a small Roman container in the form of a sea monster with a connection to a Roman, Welsh and Irish god.
