A happy New Year to all our readers; I hope it’s a successful one, out in the fields. And, as always, if you do find something of interest, please send it in. We’ve the story of detectorist Nick Bateman who managed to sneak out for a bit of detecting on Christmas Eve 2021. His find has now been declared Treasure and will go on public display.

PAS Finds – Ralph Blanchard

Very quiet at the PAS as you might expect over the festive period. There was this seal matrix which is in good condition. Personal seal matrices are always intriguing to see if there is any record of the original owner.
