Friday Update: 22 July 2022
Editorial
As all detectorists know you have some very good weeks and some quieter weeks. Last week was one of our busiest editions ever and we struggled to fit everything on the Friday update graphic. This week is a lot quieter. Many thanks to the readers who have sent their finds in. It’s always something special to find a hammered gold coin but this week the PAS have recorded an exceptional coin – a 10 cruzados of Manuel I of Portugal.
As it is a quiet week, I thought it would be a good idea to remind you of the readers stories that we have published over the last few weeks, just in case you missed them. Always good to hear a fresh voice and get a new perspective on the hobby. Hopefully it will inspire you to send in your own story.

Readers stories
Here are the readers stories, in their own words, that we published over the last few weeks. If you didn’t get a chance to read them, they are well worth a read. Hopefully, it will inspire you to send in your own story. We can do all the formatting and image processing for you.
