DNW have an auction next week featuring a large number of detecting finds. Of particular interest is a Celtic carnyx which was found in Suffolk in 2018. It’s only the second one to be found; the other was found in 1816. There’s the story of the find and the auction.
There was higher number than usual of interesting finds recorded at the PAS this week plus seven more readers finds have come in to be identified.
