Wareham is a very rare mint for Aethelred’s last small cross type

Like many things, Bronze Age axe heads aren’t as rare as they used to be although this one is an early example.

A scarce coin in generally good VF condition.

Some of the detail on each side is weak but this is still a reasonably decent example of a half noble of Edward III
