Victorian half sovereign

Kenneth Macpherson is the finder of this Victorian half sovereign. It’s dated 1844 beneath the head of Queen Victoria and on the reverse is a crowned shield of arms.

Valuation

It’ a nice looking coin, it has no obvious defects and overall it would grade slightly better than VF. As a collectors’ piece it should be worth around £250.
