Victorian shilling

This coin was sent in by Mike Ruczynski, who said he was unsure of the type.

The coin is a Victorian shilling, which is dated 1867 on the reverse and has the due number, 52, directly above the date. I’d identify the obverse as displaying the second head of Queen Victoria, so it is listed in the Standard Catalogue as number 3905.

Valuation

There is a good deal of wear on the queen’s head but the reverse is better. In its present condition I’d price this shilling at £5
