Irish penny of Edward I

Mike Ruczynski said this coin was found on the 11th of March by his brother, John. A full ID and a valuation were needed.

The coin is an Irish penny of Edward I. It was struck at Dublin and there is a single pellet below the bust of the king. On the obverse the lettering is small and on the reverse it is large. Therefore, it is an example of class Iva; it was struck between 1297 and 1302 and is listed in Coins of Scotland, Ireland and the Islands as number 6264.

Valuation

The edge is slightly ragged but the coin would grade god Fine and to a collector it should be worth £50-60.
