Henry VIII Groat
This find was sent in by Pete Husky Anning, who knows what they all are but he wanted to know what I thought the item was worth.
A groat of Henry VIII, which was struck during the first coinage. The mint mark is a portcullis, which was the badge of his mother, Margaret Beaufort.
Valuation
It would grade Good Fine in terms of wear but has several scratches on the obverse, so my best price range would be £90-120.
