Editorial

For some time, I have been aware of infighting at the very heart of the NCMD with various accusations being traded between two factions. The dispute had become increasingly bitter and threats of legal action had been made. Yesterday, I learnt that one faction had moved to expel the other from the Executive Committee of the NCMD. This is a very sad state of affairs.

In other news, Kath Giles, a Manx detectorist of three years, discovers her second Viking hoard and there is a mystery treasure find that the PAS are trying to identify. Can you help?

In readers finds, there is a Merovingian Tremissis and Henry VII groat. Plus in PAS finds, a unusual Anglo-Saxon button brooch and a bird feeder.
