Commonwealth Half Groat

This is another of Paul Marland’s finds. It’s a Commonwealth period halfgroat, with II (for two pence) over the shields of England and Ireland. On the other side of the coin is the English shield set within a laurel wreath.

Valuation

The coin is in at least Fine condition so would be worth £40-50 to a collector.
