Groat of Elizabeth I

A detectorist signing himself as Steve asked for more details about this hammered silver coin, which is 22mm in diameter. He asked if it is a groat and if so what is the mint mark and date?

This find is a coin of Elizabeth I and at 22mm in diameter it will be a groat. The mint mark on both sides is a martlet (a bird), which dates the coin to 1560-61.

Valuation

Steve also asked for a valuation to pass on to a landowner. The obverse would grade Fair, the reverse about Fine, so in its present state of preservation it should be worth around £30 to a collector.
