Sixpence of Elizabeth I

Mike Ruczynski sent in the images of this coin but said it was unearthed a while age by his brother, John.  A valuation was requested.

This find is a hammered coinage sixpence of Elizabeth I. It is dated 1589 on the reverse and the mint mark on both sides is a crescent.

Valuation

The obverse would grade Fine but the reverse is a good deal better. There is a bend in the flan, which is a minus point. In its present condition my price range would be £60-80.
