Class Ic penny of Henry II

Pictured here is a rough looking voided short cross penny. The finder wished to remain anonymous but asked for a full ID and a valuation on the coin.
The obverse is only about Fair with some detail missing. From the general style and the collar on the king’s neck I would say that this penny is most likely to be class Ic of Henry II.

The reverse is better but not all of the lettering can be seen. However, I can make out +ADAM ON – -NC, so Adam is the moneyer and Winchester the mint.

Valuation

In its present condition this Henry II penny wouldn’t be worth much in cash terms but a collector on a budget might offer £15 – £20 for it.
