A 1797 cartwheel penny of George III, counter-stamped on both sides: S.LEADER / SUTTON.WASH. The finder has researched this and identified the location as Sutton Wash, now Sutton Bridge and the probable issuer as Samuel Leader (1787-1870). Leader was a local blacksmith from 1818 to 1834.
