A seal matrix dating to the 14th Century. The inscription reads AVE MARIA GRA PLENA – hail Mary, full of grace. The matrix appears to missing a stone which if present would mean the crescent shapes would not form part of the impression. As it is made of silver, it is currently going through the treasure process.
