Pope Paolo II, terzo di grosso

This silver terzo di grosso (1/3 groat) is only the second coin of Pope Paolo II recorded by PAS and has been designated a Find of Note. The obverse shows crossed keys over the shield of Paolo. On the reverse is St. Peter and St. Paul facing each other. The mint mark, an f inside an oval with a cross above, is that of Francesco Nicolai, mint master of Ancona.
