Description

A Bronze Age penannular ring dating to c. 1300 – 800 BC. Only the copper-alloy core remains with a trace of gilding. Some examples are solid gold. There is some debate as to whether these were a form of money or jewelry and whether they were worn in the hair or on the ears or nose.
