Medieval strap fitting

A  copper alloy anthropomorphic strap fitting or mount dating to around 1100. The PAS record suggests that although the size and fittings are reminiscent of Anglo Saxon shoe-shaped stud, the style is more in keeping with later Anglo-Scandinavian depictions of the human face.
