Iron Age/Roman socketed terminal fitting

A cast copper alloy anthropomorphic socketed terminal fitting of late Iron Age to early Roman date. Although its exact function is unknown, it is thought to be a terminal from something like a flesh hook or a sceptre. Some similar objects on the PAS database have been ascribed to drinking horns. It has been designated a Find of Note.
