Description

A late Bronze Age – Early Iron Age harness fitting/toggle. It has bee designated a Find of Note. Similar items have been found in hoards of harness equipment such as the Parc-y-Meirch hoard, found in the 19th century. However, the function of these fittings is poorly understood.
