Photo: Bristol City Council CC VY SA2.0
Object type: Ring
Period: Post Medieval
Primary material: Gold
Date found: 04/07/2021
Location: Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire

The inside is engraved with ‘Be trv in harte’ (be true in heart). The lettering style suggests that this ring dates to 1650 – 1750 and so as it probably is over 300 years old, it is being considered as Treasure.
