Description

A pilgrim’s ampulla featuring a crown design and a letter “R”. Suggested “R” figures are Richard Caistor, a vicar from Norwich with a local cult following, Saint Roche, who was invoked against the plague or Regina (Queen) as Mary, Queen of Heaven. It is a Find of Note of County Importance.
