Description

The ring is inscribed on the inner face: “TLĀ Ob 20 Jan 83 aeta 60” which shows that the person memorialised (T L) died on the 20th JanuaryĀ 1683Ā aged 60; “aeta” is an abbreviation of the Latin word “aetatis” meaning “at the age of”. A Find of Note of County Importance. It has been disclaimed as Treasure.
